Midnight
Special midnight screening in the communications building of the Troma classic, "The Toxic Avenger," featuring its producer-director Lloyd Kaufman in attendance. Mr Kaufman will take questions after the movie and then sign autographs in the lobby. This presentation will be introduced by James L. Neibaur, a film historian and published author from Racine.

How to Make A Zombie
Notes horror makeup artist Hank Carlson will be presenting a makeup class with hands-on training.

Veteran film musician Mars will be presenting a workshop on how to obtain and compose appropriate music for your film.

University of Wisconsin Parkside Schedule

Midnight
Special screening of the cult classic Teenage Exorcist. The film¹s producer-director Fred Olen Ray will be in attendance taking Q&A after the movie, as will two of the film¹s stars - Eddie Deezen and Brinke Stevens. All will be available for autographs in the lobby afterward. This presentation will be introduced by James L. Neibaur, a film historian and published author from Racine.

Pitch Party

Filmmakers are given three minutes to pitch their idea to a panel of producers.

Story to Script: Writing for Entertainment Media

Award winning commercial and film producer William H. Edwards, journalist Michael Keeney and video game scriptwriter Bob Love will offer insight into the mechanics and thought processes necessary to write for the various forms of entertainment media. This hands-on course will allow you to take a concept and begin scripting it to address the needs of the final product. After a short working period, the panel will offer suggestions to help you improve your skills and move forward in your writing efforts. A question and answer period will follow.

Veteran filmmaker Mike Conway conducts a class on how the masters created special effects with limited technology.

Producer/Director Fred Olen Ray will hold a special class on how to avoid common mistakes when making horror movies.

Women in Horror

A panel discussion featuring scream queens Brinke Stevens, Debbie Rochon, Suzi Lorraine and Elske McCain as well as actress/models and Sofiya Mina Smirnova.  Writer Amy Lynn Best will also be joining in, discussing the role of women in horror cinema from
both sides of the camera.

Award winning horror filmmaker Paul Solet conducts a class on how to create CGI and other effects for horror movies.

Breaking Into Acting

Successful Wisconsin film actor Bill Zenobia conducts a class on how to get started as an actor in the midwest.

Lloyd Kaufman ¹s Master Class

Troma Studio genius Lloyd Kaufman teaches his very popular master class on filmmaking, based upon his popular book "Make Your Own Damn Movie."

Festival Notes

Each screening will be followed by a 30 minute Q&A by the filmmaker if the filmmaker is in attendance.

The Independent Film Guild from Green Bay will host a room durning the entire three day run of the fest. They are working on a schedule of events.

Class times are subject to change. It Came From Lake Michigan is still getting more offers for classes.

The Film contest deadline has yet to come, and thus the final roster offilms to be shown cannot be determined.

THE MONSTER OF PHANTOM LAKE

A shell-shocked ex-solider is transformed by Atomic Waste into a revolting monster that wreaks havoc at a high school graduation party. A tribute to 1950’s B-movies.

THE MORNING AFTER

A beach party rock and roll monster movie intertwining the adventures of an all-girl rock band with the legend of the Skunk Ape (Florida’s Bigfoot).

TAGGED

Tagged is a mockumnetary style film, revolved around the mysterious government conspiracy by which the film is named. The film follows the life of Documentary filmmaker Harrison Lee (Jonathan Vukelich), whose reputation for controversial films is well known. When Lee decides to film, after an impromptu visit from a former English professor named Julie Ann Morrison (Eleanor Tribble), he finds himself a target for strange and peculiar events that would change his life forever.

When a reality TV home makeover show renovates an estranged women’s house, the crew and fans become unwitting victims as zombies trap the crew and begin to devour guest, fans and police in a bloody bath of hungry proportions.
